The world may be safer, and nicer, and richer than when your parents were kids, but we still live in a tough time. Youth unemployment has reached a staggering 40%, and it's even higher for the young and well-educated.

One reason for this is that more than half of Indian university graduates aged 20 - 24 are considered "unemployable" due to little practical experience and bad communication skills.

Not cool. But very real.

There's also immense pressure, and it's not easy being young today, no matter what some well-meaning uncle might say.

Welcome to our campus

10,000+ students. 45 acres. A lake with turtles in it! What's not to like?

Our campus at Bhavan's College (Autonomous) in Andheri is an oasis of calm inside the chaos that is Mumbai - not just a safe, green haven filled with young people, but also a (reasonably!) peaceful spot in the middle of a huge, energetic city. We've even got our own nursery for plants!

It's close to the Azad Nagar metro station, quite close to the BOM airport (in case you have relatives who want to visit!) and we have some nice and quite affordable student housing very close by. Affordable by Mumbai standards, that is - let's not over-promise here!

On campus we have our own dedicated MSEED spaces, and we have some pretty cool places that are shared by all students at Bhavan's College, but most of all, we all try to create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere; this means some somewhat boring things like dress codes, but it also means strict anti-ragging policies, mental health support, and counseling when it's needed. We believe that no student should face challenges alone, just like no one should have to learn alone.

Below we have prepared a small virtual tour, but you are of course welcome to come visit us at the school itself. Just reach out beforehand, so we can arrange for a tour, and not all be busy with teaching!

Welcome to a world beyond India

Our base of operations is in Mumbai, but we are very much a world school.

We have international partners, international teachers, international ideas about learning, and international ways of thinking - and even though we are firmly rooted in Indian tradition, and are proud to bring India to the world, we are also very excited about being able to bring some of the world to India and to our students!

The College of Extraordinary Experiences (Poland)

Through the College of Extraordinary Experiences we get access to an incredible global network of allies in various fields, and a test chamber for radical ideas about learning. Every year, MSEED offers a small group from MSEED the chance to go to the College, where there is a chance to learn from extraordinary practitioners from all around the globe - and also a chance to teach them a bit of our own extraordinary ways as well!
